One of our specialist services is accessible property finding. This involves a large cohort of people that may have specific needs or adaptations that would make their home and living accessible for them.  This includes those who are physically or mentally impaired, have children or family members with special needs, those who may not be  as agile as they once were, or indeed anyone planning ahead for their ‘twilight’ years that would benefit from some adaptions or other requirements in their home accommodation. 

Everyone has different requirements and every requirement is important. At the initial consultancy meeting we will go through every detail as it is by listening to our client’s particular needs that we can then agree a step by step home requirement brief.  We understand that your move could be dependent on a variety of priorities for example proximity to specific entities such as schools, medical facilities, transport etc. We are experienced in sourcing accessible properties and have worked with clients with lifelong disabilities setting up new homes or planning for upgrades as their need requires it; clients with new special requirements in their home, Paralympic athletes, and senior citizens who have adapted their home for appropriate and comfortable living.

We are comfortable listening to our clients to fully understand their requirements and then making suggestions that may be helpful from our own experience in this area. We understand that for some, a first review of the building regulations may seem very technical for an accessible premises eg. a wheelchair accessible bathroom, however, we are here to guide you so that you can quickly come to grips with it all – we are passionate in our discovery of what is needed for each client. We have access to professional medical advice, accommodation experts and experienced buildings professionals for property adaptations in creating the perfect brief for each client. 

If needed, we have access to additional experts whose role is to access various assistance avenues available across London. They can consult separately to your property search if you like, assisting and guiding you through your specialist requirements – please ask us for more detail.  

We are passionate about our pursuit in finding for a client with accessible needs. Once we have completed the search brief, we begin the property search. James takes away the burden and stress of trawling through property websites and visiting numerous properties from his clients unto himself, whilst using every resource at his disposal. During the search process, James will view and appraise properties on your behalf until a final shortlist of properties for you to approve and view is compiled. Once a property has been selected, James will then negotiate the best deal possible on your behalf and manage the entire purchase through to completion.

In order to ensure completion of your ideal home, additional services of relocation organisation or overseeing the works process on a property can be provided.

Throughout the process of buying a property, James ensures his clients best interest is completely and professionally represented. He becomes an ‘extension’ of his client’s interest in the marketplace with the addition of having the expertise to make it happen for them.
